TriPeaks Solitaire: instructions and practice

Use a short break to learn the rhythm of TriPeaks Solitaire. Remove all three peaks from the tableau. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move. Begin with the solo mode shown on the page. Use the example below to understand a decision.

Three-peak covered layout with a single-pass draw stock. Free solo play, no wagering.

Practice beyond the first move

Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board. Use the example to check your reasoning.

Aim for this result

Remove all three peaks from the tableau. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Review the board or playing area as it changes.

Work through the instructions

  1. Take an exposed card one rank above or below the waste top. Ace and king connect in this edition.
  2. Click an exposed card or eligible pair to remove it.
  3. Draw when useful.
  4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

Controls

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. Make sure you are interacting with the game rather than the surrounding page.

Learn from a sample situation

Waste 7 accepts exposed 6 or 8. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Take a moment to compare.

Where a round can go wrong

Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Compare the situation with the worked example. After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again.
